The San Diego Zoo really lives up to all the hype...it's a really beautiful zoo! As instructed by family and friends, we took the guided bus tour the minute we walked in to the park. It's a great way to get a feel for the zoo and helps you map out your day. There are lots of neat paths and trails at the zoo and they have some great features to help you get around - express shuttle buses, moving walkways through the tress, a sky tram. Seeing the pandas was a special treat and the coolest thing we did was feed the giraffes!
We finished out our day with a seafood dinner in the SeaPort Village on the Bay. A little ice cream afterwards and a walk around the Village as the sun set...it was a great way to wrap up a fabulous trip!
